It might have taken 18 years, but with a 36-16 victory over the UTS Titans, the now 9-0 Sutherland Seahawks Colts team notched up its 100th ever win in Colts level football.
The UTS squad was small, but determined, and scored first as well as lead at half time. The Seahawk offence ran only 9 plays in the first half, long range plays for TD by Daniel Besz and a 65 yard reception to Zach Hughes meant very short possessions and the defense going back out on the field.
The second half was a different story. Another touchdown to Daniel Besz and two to Jackson Young quickly made the scoreline 36-16 and UTS would succumb to a loss of healthy bodies resulting in a premature end to the game.
Jarrad Atkins again led the tackle count and Nose Tackle Kris Iverach had his highest return with 6 tackles, adding a key sack as well.
Next week the Seahawks will take on the West Sydney Trojans at 5 Sports 3.30pm kickoff.
