Adrian is working on a conversion to Rugby with the local Southern Districts Rebels for 2012.

Adrian has been waiting patiently for a shot in Hawaii. The Bills have been the most interested, but the Ravens personnel manager has been in touch with Adrian and a practice squad position maybe on the cards. Stay tuned.
July 26th, 2011
After over 130 days of NFL lockout, the NFL Players Association and the NFL owners have come to an agreement in principle that will be signed off on tomorrow. This means that NFL off season activity will commence and now be squeezed down into 2 weeks instead of 5 months.
Adrian leaves today for Hawaii which he will use as a base to jump to whatever camp he might get an invite to. It means that if he has to get to one of the 32 NFL team's training camps he can do so very quickly.

Blocking practice with Blake.
JUNE 9th, 2011
The NFL lock out that started on March 15th continues and latest reports suggest that negotiations will continue until at least after July 4th. In the meantime, Adrian has been training very hard and has been great assist to Blake and local players with their blocking skills.

Adrian training with Blake.
May 24th, 2011
A lot of hard training going on right now, and to add into the equation extra work being down helping some Seahawks club players working on their skills as well as working with Blake Muir who is in town between semesters getting ready for Fall camp.
Still waiting on the lock out to be resolved which could be days or weeks or months. But in the mean time Adrian is actually making some sound improvements in the gym.
May 10th, 2011
Lifting and conditioning continue for Adrian here in Sydney. Next week a UH coach will be in town looking at more local talent which Adrian will also help out at.
April 28th, 2011
Adrian dropped in to Shire Speed and Strength gym to catch up with Seahawks Head Coach and gym owner Peter Upham.
The holding pattern continues for Adrian as the NFL Draft is conducted this week and the NFL labor dispute continues. The player lock out has been overturned by a judge so existing NFL contracted players can attend facilities but there is still no collective bargaining agreement in place so after the draft no new layers will be signed.
For Adrian it means that he will be waiting for some certainty to develop and the next most likely opportunity would be with the UFL when it opens its training camps in July. Having already had a private workout with the UFL OL coach and Head Coach, Adrian avoids the 200+ player try out camps being held through April and May.
Until then, and now that he has been able to catch up with friends and family (his last time in Australia was for xmas 2009) its a case of staying in contact with his agent and keep training.
April 12th, 2011
Adrian has landed back in a Australia. If you want to catch up with him then you better be quick. He could be off again very shortly.
April 4th, 2011
Adrian has returned to Hawaii and will know in the next few days what his movements will be regarding his visa application. If it does not turn out as hoped he will be back home in Australia for a few weeks. His agent has said that this year is the worst case scenario for graduated Seniors regarding the NFL lock out and labor dispute.
Later in the week he will know what he is doing and the UFL has its try out camps going for the next two months. They will open their training camps in late June and early July. The NFL arbitration will go on for some time, perhaps the whole off season and until then no Free Agents can be signed or training camps be conducted.
April 1st, 2011
Adrian and 16 other former UH Warriors took part in their Pro Day at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California.
Adrian weighed in at 299lb and 6'5" exactly.
Hand 9 7/8"
Arm 33 1/4"
Wing span 81 1/2"
Broad Jump 8-1
Vertical jump 28"
Bench 23 reps
40 yard 5.50
20 yard 3.20
Adrian's vertical leap was probably his most impressive and he was disappointed in his bench reps as they were very strict with the lock out. Like most player he had several reps taken off for lack of lock out. One player had as many as 7 reps taken off.
March 25th, 2011
Just a week to go to UH's Pro Day.
Adrian had private try out with the Las Vegas Locomotives with just 2 other players and it went very well. Head Coach Jim Fassel and Offensive Line coach Don Eck worked the player out for an hour, they are interested depending on what happens with the NFL lock out.
The NFL lock out is complicating things for this off season. This was not a good year to be a graduating senior. There are no off season training camps for the NFL until the labor dispute is resolved. This means that while there will be a draft, there wont be any free agent signings or training camps for new or existing players who are on the cusp to impress coaches at for NFL teams. It means that there could be a glut of players on the cusp of the NFL who now try to sell their wares in the new UFL as a back up plan.
March 1st, 2011
Adrian reports that his training is going well. He's particularly happy with his 3 cone drill ability and is confident of 30+ reps on the bench testing. Out of all the things that happen at the Pro Day the OL drills often take on the most importance as it is an opportunity for the scouts to see how coachable and adaptable you are.
His weight is right around 300lb which is where he wants it to be.
February 10th, 2011
UH's Pro Day is officially scheduled for March 31st at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California.
February 9th, 2011
Adrian is training twice a day Mon to Sat at Zone Performance owned by Evan Mathis an ex-NFL OL from Alabama. There is a newer facility that is still being built.

January 4th, 2011
Adrian has spent that last week in Los Angeles with his girlfriend Crystal and is looking into options for where he can train for the UH Pro Day (Arizona is an option) and also choosing an agent. He might be back in town in a week or so to catch up wit family and friends.
December 27th, 2010
The Warriors were defeated 62-35 in the Hawaii Bowl by the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. A mass of turnovers was the main source of defeat, UH QB's Bryant Moniz and Shane Austin threw 6 interceptions including 2 that were returned for touchdowns.
Tulsa was very well prepared and made full use of all of the Warriors' mistakes. Down 27-14 at the half, the Warriors twice rallied to within a touchdown of Tulsa but could not stop the Golden Hurricane from scoring and ended their 2010 campaign at 10-4 for the season.
It would be Adrian's final game as a Warrior and capped a journey that began many years prior when we first started training very hard to prepare as a college prospect. Adrian has yet to decide how the next few weeks will work out as he prepares for all the options available to him in 2011.

Adrian was named at Offensive Guard on the 2nd Team All-WAC squad.
Just 2 Hawaii players were named to the 1st Team, Wide Receiver Greg Salas and Safety Mana Silva. Adrian was named on the 2nd team with fellow offensive lineman Laupepa Letuli, receiver Kealoha Pilares, Quarterback Bryant Moniz, Running back Alex Green and Defensive Lineman Kaniela Tuipulotu.
It means that Adrian was in the top 4 players at his position in the conference of 9 teams.
The Seniors attended last night's Na Koa Awards Banquet. Adrian attended with his parents.
December 4th, 2010
The Warriors wrapped up the senior season with another huge win, this time 59-21 over University of Nevada-Las Vegas Rebels of the Mountain West Conference.
Once again a big statistical day for UH, QB Moniz went over 300 yards passing again, Salas and Pilares have big receiving days and Green went over 100 yards rushing. Adrian and the offensive line did another great job, pass pro and short yardage run blocking were a feature.
Senior's Night was capped with the traditional 'Senior's Walk' where the senior players are introduced to the fans individually and lap the stadium to greet the fans. Adrian's parents were in attendance and down on the field for it. Additionally, the WAC Championship trophy was presented to the team and Head Coach Greg McMackin. The 10-3 season has been one of the most successful for UH ever and Adrian has been a part of some of what has been a golden era of UH football; 11-3 in 2006 and Hawaii Bowl win over Arizona State, 12-1 in 2007 and Sugar Bowl appearance against Georgia and now 10-3 so far in 2010 and the Warriors will play against Tulsa on Christmas Eve at Aloha Stadium, the final ever game for all 28 Seniors in the 2010 class.
The Warriors will take some time off this week for finals and then start preparation for the December 24th game.
WARRIORS 59, UNLV 21
November 28th, 2010
The Warriors were unstoppable in their last road trip game for 2010 as they deeated the New Mexico State Aggies 59-24 in Las Cruzes, New Mexico.
Running Back Alex Green broke a 60 year old rushing record for UH by going for 327 yards off just 19 carries. Adrian and the rest of the offensive line were dominant as the offense had 606 yards from scrimmage.
The win makes the Warriors co-WAC champions for 2010 as conference leader Boise State was defeated by Nevada in a massive upset. It will be just the third WAC Championship for the Warriors in 31 years, next year will be Hawaii's last in the WAC. Adrian will get a second chunky Championship ring to go with his 2007 edition.
New Mexico State was very cold but the Warriors now come home for their last regular season game against UNLV on December 4th. That game will be Seniors Night, where the graduating Senior players will be honored, Adrian's parents are going over for the game and mid week festivities. That game will be followed by a 3 week break as the team prepares for the Hawaii Bowl, the opponent will likely be from Conference USA.

November 25th, 2010
Adrian appeared on Channel 7's 'Sunrise' program this morning and had a very short interview with Grant Denyer along with Australian Punter Alex Dunnachie.
November 22nd, 2010
With the week off the Hawaii Warriors had much to be excited about. The San Jose Spartans came to town and the Warriors chalked up a 41-7 win, Quarterback Byrant Moniz setting a new Warrrio passing record with 560 yards, breaking the old record by 1 yard.
To go with the victory is the exciting news that the Warriors will be moving to the Mountain West Conference (MWC) from the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) for 2012. This will follow the path of Boise State, Fresno State and Nevada and places the Warriors in the same conference as TCU, Air Force, UNLV and Wyoming. The news was unexpected but secures the long term future of UH football as the WAC was a conference of declining competitiveness and going independent was always going to be a very tough option.
Adrian will play in his last road trip game against New Mexico State next week.

November 8th, 2010
#4 Ranked Boise State used their bye week lead in very well to defeat the Warriors at home in Boise, Idaho 42-7 and continue their undefeated streak that reaches back to 2008.
Te Broncos were almost impossible to stop and although Hawaii won the turnover count 3-0 and had more rushing yards the Warriors could not get their offense going and now fall to 7-3 on the season.
The Broncos are pushing hard to make their way to the National Championship, they have their work cut out, and a win over a strong Hawaii team was absolutely necessary. For Hawaii they now have the week off before hosting San Jose State at home in two weeks. The remainder of the schedule is New Mexico State on the road then UNLV at home on December 8th for Senior's Night. Last week's win over Idaho clinched a berth in the Hawaii Bowl on Christmas Eve.
WARRIORS 7, BOISE STATE 42
November 1st, 2010
With a 45-10 home victory over the Idaho Vandals the Warriors have won 6 games straight and will travel to Boise Idaho to play the #3 ranked Boise State Broncos in one of the most historically important games in UH history.
The Hawaii Offense took a couple of drives to click but the Defense continued its excellent recent form shutting down a very very good Idaho offense that was ranked as high as #4 in the nation this year.
Adrian played another great game as the offensive line was up against one of the better D-line units so far this season. Also, and most excitedly Adrian's story on ESPN-Australia is now available online to watch, cut and paste the link below.
WARRIORS 45, IDAHO 10.
October 25th, 2010
By defeating Utah State 45-7 in Logan, Utah the Warriors are now ranked #27 in the nation and play Idaho next week at Aloha Stadium.
Adrian and the offensive line paved the way for Running Back Alex Green to rush for 172 yards and 4 touchdowns on just 14 carries. The offensive line was dominant and the Warrior defense was the same. The performance sets up a payback game next week against the Idaho Vandals with perennial WAC Champs and #3 ranked Boise State awaits the week after that.
The Warriors are on a roll.
WARRIORS 45, UTAH STATE AGGIES 7.
October 18th, 2010
The University of Hawaii Warriors upset the #21 ranked Nevada Wolfpack 27-21 at Aloha Stadium. The Warriors are now 3-0 in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) having defeated two main rivals in consecutive weeks.
The Warriors will travel to Utah State to keep their conference unbeaten record going. With the win over Nevada, the Warriors are now ranked #29 in the nation on the AP Poll. Many journalists predicted only a 7-6 season for 2010 and with only one big opponent ahead, Boise State in 3 weeks, the Warriors could end up going 10-3 and a Hawaii Bowl berth, not to mention being on the cusp of being nationally ranked in the Top 25.
October 10th, 2010
The Warriors upset the Fresno State Bulldogs in Fresno 49-27 and are now 4-2 for the season.
Adrian and the offensive line are protecting Bryant Moniz as he becomes the #1 QB in the nation for yards per game. NExt week the Warriors are home to #21 ranked Nevada which will be a massive task, Nevada's spread offense is so flexible with mobile QB Colin Kaepernick, the Warriors are doing well against highly touted units; Fresno State's DL was meant to be very hard to stop but the OL stone walled them all day to create what was int he end a very easy vistory.
October 6th, 2010
In the lead up to the Fresno State game, Adrian and fellow Australian Alex Dunnachie (punter) have been interviewed by ESPN Australia. The segment will air locally very soon. Stay tuned for more info.
The Warriors have beaten Fresno State in their last two visits there, 2006 and 2008.
October 3rd, 2010
Gaining revenge for a 27-6 loss last year in which Adrian made his first start, the Warriors beat the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs 42-21 at home to start conference play.
The Warriors now lead the nation in passing yards per game and are ninth in total offense. Wide Receiver Kealoha Pilares is the nation's leading receiver. Its all only possible with the continued solid play of the offensive line.
Next week the Warriors will travel to play Fresno State.
WARRIORS 42, LOUISIANA TECH 21.
September 27th, 2010
The Warriors steam-rolled over Charleston Southern 66-7 at Aloha Stadium, making the season record 2-2. A new experience for Adrian, he was substituted in the third quarter to allow a younger player into the game. Hawaii played 6 different quarterbacks and nearly all of their roster.
The win was a great boost for the team morale after splitting the two road trip games. Next week Hawaii begins WAC conference play and takes on Louisiana Tech at home.

September 20th, 2010
With a 31-3 second half turn around the Colorado Buffalo's beat the Warriors 31-13 and send the Warriors to a 1-2 record.
The Warrior defense couldn't stop the ground game of Colorado and were gouged badly again and again whilst the offense sputtered in the second half after failing to convert multiple red zone opportunities in the first half.
The Warriors will play Charleston Southern at home this week. Adrian will start again for the fourth straight time at right guard.
September 16th, 2010
The Hawaii pass protection was rated 109th in sacks allowed through 2 games so far this year. Only 4 schools better. All the more impressive considering how many times Hawaii throws the ball.
The Warriors are in Las Vegas this week before heading to Colorado to play at nearly 6000ft elevation.
September 12th, 2010
With under a minute to play and the scores tied at 28 all the Warriors defense forced a fumble with the Army Black Knights in field goal range for the go ahead score and recovered the ball. With 26 seconds the Warriors drove the ball down into Army territory for a 31 yard Scott Enos field goal and 31-28 victory.
The Warriors has been up 21-0 before Army stormed back with great adjustments in all phases. Adrian again played well, not giving up a sack and is also in on field goals.
The Warriors are staying on the mainland in Las Vegas then take on Colorado this saturday.
September 3rd, 2010
The Hawaii Warriors were beaten 49-36 by the USC Trojans but they made a real game of it. Adrian and the offensive line played tremendously, making 588 yards of offense for the Warriors and scorching the highly credentialed Trojans defense over and over.
A game recap can be seen here http://hawaiiathletics.com/news/2010/9/3/FB_0903102200.aspx
I spoke to Adrian via instant message and he really enjoyed the game, was happy with how they went but disappointed they weren't able to get closer and challenge for a victory.

After a long absence, Adrian's Diaries is back on the net. I will be uploading the old posts if the files dont take up too much room.
The 2010 College season is apon us and Adrian reports for the start of camp on Wednesday August 4th. The Warriors start the season with an ESPN Thursday night game on Sept 2nd and Adrian starts Fall practice as the number #1 right guard.
The Warriors under Head Coach Greg MacMackin went 7-6 last year and missed out on a bowl game, the schedule opens with USC before sending the Warriors on a 2 game road trip to Army and Colorado. That 3 game opening will make or break the Warriors 2010 campaign.
Watching game film of USC and also Tennessee has been part of the offseason so far. The new USC coaching staff has come from last year's Tennessee program.USC obviously has a formidable roster and looms as a giant to start the season with but their off season has been mired in controversy. The NCAA has banned them for 3 years of bowl games for violating amateurism rules with one of their football players from 2005, Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush. It has led to several players leaving the team to pursue other program opportunities and put a different kind of spot light on the team.
Adrian is healthy for the start of camp. In team testing he finished with 29 reps on the 225lb bench press test which was a personal best. He has a relatively light school schedule this semester and will be graduating in December as planned. It means that all his focus will be on football.
